Marriage issue- In need of some advice....

Post by GeorgeTex » Thu Mar 13, 2008 7:54 pm

I am a newbie to this forum and am desperate for some advice from you kind people.
I am a British citizen planning to get married to my non EU fiancee later on this year. My fiancee is currently on a Work permit (has been on a Work permit for 2 1/4 years). She has been in this country for approx 7 years now, was at first studying at university prior to getting a work permit.
Anyway can you please advice on what the quickest way would be towards her getting Citizenship? Would it be best for her to remain on the work permit after we get married or to apply for spousal visa?
Some advice will be much appreciated.

Regards
George
