Hello everyone!! i am new to this forum, and would just like to say im a US citizen, just became canadian permanent resident a yr ago, and my husband who is canadian would like to get his US greencard, we already applied through montreal so now my hubby just has to get his fingerprints, etc..and we have to do the affadavid..

my question is if there was an emergency with my family and i had to go home to new york would my hubby be allowed to come with me? since his application is in process?

Are you planning to move back to the United States as soon as possible?

HI just writing back here,

i was wondering if anyone could help me. I dont know how this works if your in canada and applying for your husband to get a US visa. I am the US citizen, and were applying IN CANADA since we live here now my hubby is a canadian citizen.

So the process is already going on in Montreal and i guess my only question would be is what if I the sponsor had to go back to the US for a Family Emergency would my husband be able to come with me since his US application would be in process until he gets his visa????

Please answer asap thank you so much.

I don't know the answer to your question. You might want to check out the forum at www.diveintoamerica.com There's tons of info on there and you should hopefully find the answers you need.
