Hello, All.
First of all thank you for support and lot of useful information.
I am in similar situation and appreciate if you can advice. I am currently employed in UK and hold Tier-2 general visa. Recently another employer offered better job and willing to sponsor Tier 2 general visa.
Context:
My future employer mentioned that if applications for switching visa made for all of us (Myself and dependants) at same time then only employer will bear cost of visa fees, relocation etc.
Situation:
Currently I am in UK while my dependants are in home country. Holding no UK visa.
Questions:
1) Can dependants apply for fresh visa (Tier-2 dependant category) at the "same time" from outside UK ? While I am applying to switch within country.
2) Can I bring them to UK on visitor visa and then apply for all of us at the same time within country sponsored and paid by new employer ? In this case my application will be swtich and theirs will be fresh.
3) Or bring them as dependant based on my current visa (Which costs around £2K) and then switch to new visa for all of us at same time sponsored and paid by new employer. Is it wise to switch dependant's visa within 1 month time from the date they arrive in UK.
4) Or any other option ?
Kind Regards,
Bsam
