I have applied for Tier2 general visa up to 3 years. I submitted 4 applications for myself, my wife and two sons on October 26th. On November 2nd I went to VFS and submitted all applications and biometrics. On November 7th I received 4 emails (from: VISAINFO.SHEFO@fco.gov.uk) acknowledging that our 4 applications are now at the decision making center.
On November 9th , I received an email regarding passport collection from VFS. I went on November 10th and found that only one of my sons passports is received. The rest of passports, including mine, did not arrive yet which is unusual as I am the main applicant.
My son didn`t get the visa and it is stated in the refusal letter that "You have applied for entry clearance as the child of a PBS migrant, I note that your father`s application as a Tier 2 (general) migrant has been refused". Note that the application was refused on November 7th, the same day the applications arrived to the decision making center.
Until now, I didn`t receive any notifications regarding my passport and the rest of my family.
So my questions are:
1) If my son`s application was refused based on my application refusal, why I didn`t recive my passport yet (It is almost 4 days since his passport arrievd to VFS)?
2) If my application is still under processing, how come he was refused based on my refusal? I am totally confused.
I hope that anyone can explain what is happening? This is my first time to apply to Uk visa and I thought it should be easy.
