any recent EU1 approvals?

This forum has gone quite quiet, which is either a good thing or a bad thing.

Has anyone recently been turned down for an EU1?

Has anyone recently been approved for EU1 after showing no prior Eu residence or only short tourist visits to other member states?

Hi Directive,

as for us, the decision is pending.

We were told decisions may take "up to six months", nothing more. So we should hear before July 31st.

We did receive an "acknowledgement of receipt", which informed us that we should supply proof of prior EU-residency.

Our complaint which is logged with the EU is ongoing at the same time. The commission informed us, that they regard the Irish behaviour as "not in line with EU-regulations", and they are investigating.

That's the current status. Sorry there is no more specific update.
