I was advised by Passport office customer service to submit the passport and the nationality certificate which has the correct name @liverpool passport office to rectify &re-issue the passport on the same day. Sumitted on 2nd December, unfortunately the officials who looks at the passport applications submitted via NCS wasn't working on the day. So they will correct and post it to us.

I have to say I was not expecting it to be that quick. It took exactly 3 months from application to decision. I am relieved to find out the outcome finally 2 weeks after the decision has been made.
