Hi All

I have another point to get cleared, if some can help me. As already mentioned he i m here from last 2 yrs and my wife is also with me here on dependent visa and i still have 5 more years uk wp, she is expecting baby , the thing is as i am not yet on ILR as even my wife, what will be the status of my baby and how the things will be managed , i mean

do i have to arrange indian passport for baby also or can i andorse my baby on either mine or my wife's passport.

1) re: your unborn baby nationality, once you have your ILR, you can register the child as British, using a MN1 form and £400.-

2) re: passport for your child, please take this up with the Indian Consular General, but I beleive the child will have to have it's own passport.

3) finally don't forget that the child is a dependant of your work permit, so you will need to apply for a depenants permit for the child, yes and that will cost more money.

doesn it mean i can register my baby as british only after i get ILR which is after 3 yrs .

second thing can you suggest me what are the other differences on giving baby birth here in uk or in india if i am not on ILR.
