Baby born in UK

Post by msk1978 » Mon Apr 14, 2008 3:23 pm

Hi Members,

I am on HSMP which is due for renewal by Oct this year and we are expecting a baby this June in UK. I have following questions:

1. Can i send his application alongwith my extention request in July (but not sure as i will be applying for FLR and baby needs entry clearance or initial leave)

2. Do we need to get baby's separate passport or can we include in one parent's passport (but embassy say if the passport is computerised new one, they dont stamp on that passport for kids)

If some one has experience please share this to help me out.

Many thanks for your help

Although i suggest you taking professional help or from senior members, from my knowledge, I can say no need to go for anything rite now.
He/she will be getting british passport afterwards so you dont need to worry. In any case, tht is going to be stronger case.
I have my ILR since march 2013, previously based on HSMP+Tier1 ext. All views are my own, am not a professional on immigration matters.

1. You need a seperate passport for your baby.

2. If you are not travelling before your renewal, then dont need to send your baby's passport for EC/FLR.

3. Your baby would not get British passport as you or your sponse have not got British nationality or PR.

4. Best option would be wait for your renewal (Sep 08) and send all of the passport at one time to save money.

Hope this make sense.
