US pilot career for a non-us citizen

Hello, I'm not a US citizen and I do not have a green card.
I want to go to the US to flight school and get a private license, then a instrument license, and a commercial license.

I would like to know it would be possible for me to find a job in the US if I have a commercial pilot license and get a work permit.

Is that true that I can get a pilot license in the US with out a student visa if I fly less then 18 hours a week?
I'm speaking about Private Pilot License (its first one), and I can do it in about 4-5 weeks if I really work hard.
