Documents to submit after successful in-country appeal?

Post by tasha75 » Wed Apr 23, 2008 10:01 pm

Hi,
I won the appeal last year (in country). Now I have to submit my passport with 4 photographs. The letter from the HO states that my photos have to be certified but no mention of my children photos. Does anyone know if children photos need to be certified, and if so who can certify them? Kids are 8, 2 y.o. and a baby.
The logic says that if the letter doesn't state then the photos don't have to be certified. But I don't trust the letter since when the HO first wrote to me, they asked for my passport and photos only. Then after 2 months they'd woken up and requested the eldest child passport and the photos. I would like to send everything needed in one go, really don't want any more surprises and delays. It has already been almost 11 months since my appeal and I still have no LTR.

Thank you

Thank you for your quick reply, gollywood.

Well, knowing that bunch of robots (aka the Home Office), I suppose you are right.
Is there a list of suitable people who can certify the photos? I think I could ask a school for my eldest child, but not sure about the 2 little ones (not in the nursery). Could a "high-street" solicitor do that if I pop in with my children?

Thank you. Will be taking a stroll down the High street tomorrow .

May I interrogate you a little bit more, please? Did the solicitor stamped your photos at all or just signed it? Just a bit curious since there is no declaration to sign and there is hardly any space on the photo itself to write "...true likeness" plus a solicitor details.

BTW, did they sign just 1 out 4 photos?
