Schengen Visa required ?

Guys,

I am New Zealand citizen recently migrated to UK from New Zealand on HSMP along with my Wife (on Pakistan Passport) and my Daughter (New Zealand Passport).
We are planning to have Holidays in some of EU countries
(France,Spain,Austria,Swizerland)

Here are my question.
1. for me and my Daughter, we both are Kiwi nationals, so I assume that we don't need Visas to visit those countries?
2. Now for my Wife (she is on Pakistani Passport with HSMP dependent visa for 2 years) Does she needs a Visa?
If yes then Schengen Visa is enough for her?
or does she have to apply for indivisual country Vistor visa?

Any quidance much appreciated.

She'll need a Schengen visa for all countries although I think she can enter Switzerland visa-free...

First visa might be a single entry short term so she might need to apply again for further trips.

Bear in mind esp during summer holiday season the Schengen visa appointment slots at the Embassies are booked up months in advance.

You are supposed to apply at the State u will be entering first or the one u'll be spending most time in. Beware of not entering or staying in a country from who's embassy u applied, my mates wife was refused a second French-issued visa cos there was no evidence she went to France on the first one. (they did - no stamp tho).

French embassy is anecdotally the easiest to apply from, Spanish and Greek the worst. My gf got a German-issued one but it cost a fair bit all told, £15 to book an appointment via the 0906 £1.50 booking number, £160 train ticket to get to consulate before 10:30am as specified, 40 quid for the visa and an inordinate amount in West End shopping after.....
