National identity card information required during online application

Hi, I am applying under the 5 year tier 2 rule with SET O form, as I filling my information online I was asked to provide the national identity card information of my home country, which the issue/expiry date is optional(says if applicable on the website), I already provided my passport detail so I was wondering whether I will have to provide these dates as mine got expired recently and I have to renew it at my home country by myself, could I just leave them as blank? much appreciated!

You do not need to enter that information. Just say 'No' and continue
