Need Advise on ILR entitlement Please.

Post by aamirml » Wed Apr 30, 2008 9:58 pm

Hello All!
Its my 1st post here. I married to British girl and now have ILR visa, we have some problems. If I marry from outside of UK now, is it possible for me to bring my new partner here? my Mrs here has no problems with that. Any advise on this regard would be appriciated.

Thanks[/b]

Don't you have to get divorced first? You called her "my Mrs"

There are laws against bigamy in the UK.

If you are still legally married according to UK law to your British wife, how can a second marriage be legal in the UK?

See the Immigration Rules about spouses

They mention polygamous marriages & also for unmarried partners that the previous relationship must have permanently broken down. Similar for civil partnerships & same sex relationships.

in all fairness you ONLY came to the uk to be with your british wife....i am sorry to hear that this has not worked out...

Now that you intend to re-marry does it not make sense for you to go back to and join this "New" person????
