Help applying for a family visit visa

Help! I am pregnant with my first baby and both my husband's family and my own live in other countries. My mother can't come from Australia when we have the baby, and so I am desperate for my mother-in-law to come from Turkey and stay with us for about six weeks - from just before the baby is due until about a month after. My husband and I are both naturalised citizens; but his mother, who is widowed, has never been out of Turkey and is supported by the family and does not work, apart from looking after her own mother, who is unwell. I am very worried that, in these circumstances, we will struggle to convince the UK government that she is not a risky candidate for a visa -- that she will go home after her stay. Is there anything we can do to improve our chances - things to include or not include in the application; things to say or not say? Should we think about employing a lawyer (am hoping the answer is no!), is there anywhere we can get advice?

YOu are going to have to convince the HO that your mother has sufficient SOCIAL & ECONOMIC ties to Turkey.

Social: Family / dependants (list them all, 1 by 1, name them if you have to)

Economic: Any land, property, rental income, pension, assets, partnerships etc etc etc

Try and gather as much info & evidence, documenation etc for these.
