UK tier 2 application from Kuwait

Hello,

I am an Indian citizen currently living in Kuwait. I am planning to apply for UK Tier 2 visa from Kuwait in July 2018, but my Kuwait residence permit expires in September 2018. So my question is do I need to renew my Kuwait residence permit before applying for UK tier 2 visa?

Tier 2 application should be based on your passport, if you are allowed to apply from Kuwait and as long is your residency valid while your application in process, it should be fine.
