hi to all. i posted a few questions here regarding my ILR and i highly appreciated all the people who replied. Anyway, sorry but I have another question to ask. As i said before that i am going to apply for my ILR this coming Nov 2008 ( i am on a work permit visa ) though my visa till 2010. A colleague of mine said to me since i still have an existing visa i should apply for my ILR on my exact 5 years here in UK. If i apply for my ILR on my 5 yrs-28days is that alright or if apply on the exact 5 yrs here is that okay too? Many thanks

5 years less 28 days. You can obviously apply after exactly 5 years, but it is entirely up to you.
