How to Purchase a private health insurance in Sweden

I am a Chinese national and my wife is a British national. We just arrived in Sweden as the free movement of persons. We know we can settle in any member state without holding employment if we have sufficient money for our upkeep.Now the problem is that we don't know how we can prove that sufficient money. Now the problem is that the Migration boards asked us we need the proof of a private health insurance in order to apply for a resident card,but it is not easy to purchase a private health insurance without a resident card( or a residence of over 1 year).Does anybody have experience about it?
