FLR M Paternity Pay

Post by 5kops » Fri Aug 31, 2018 10:47 am

Hi,
I'm applying for my wife's FLR M, she's currently on spouse visa. I'm on hourly pay, I'm on a contract, I've got a minimum hours to work, get partial sick pay, full holiday pay. Any hours not worked is not paid. I've taken paternity leave for 2 weeks and that was paid on statutory paternity pay. This took that months pay to £1,300 which falls below the required threshold. My question is does statutory paternity pay is counted to meet the financial requirements.

My wife's FLR M was granted via premium service and so to answer my own question from doing research is that the month in question where you have received paternity pay isn't counted ( although I still included the payslip in the application) but to to use the month previous. Example:
March to August is 6 months payslips, you'll also include February's payslip which makes it's 7.
I also included a letter from employer confirming that I took paternity leave from this date to that date.
Hope this helps.
