Hello everyone.. Good afternoon
Please just need a clear answer on this pls.. When would a child that has 2.5 limited leave to remain in uk right now get a British passport pls?? He came to uk when he was 2yrs around 2004 and his now 13yrs.

No. But perhaps child may apply for ILR.

Hello everyone.. how are you all hope great?
Pls I’m a bit worried right now for my son, because non of us(parents) have got ILR yet. We only have residence permit(2.5yrsvisa) at moment including him. I’m just worried abt his university education😢
Because he just turned 16years this month and he’s in yr11. Just want to ask can he apply for ILR on his own when he turns 18yrs?? Pls help me with a clear answer pls🙏🏽 Thanks

As Vinny has advised above, if he meets the residence requirements for ILR(LR) (continuous legal residence in the UK for ten years with no more than specified absences), your son can apply for it. Click on the links in Vinny's and this response above for more information.
