Has anyone recently extended HSMP VISA after the High Court verdict. If so, could you please share your experiences here.[/b][/b]

I don't think anyone can get any extension until there is an update on HO's website. HO seems completely not interested in treating such cases most especially if you have requested that your extension be treated under the "old hsmp rules". Let us just prepare for a LONG wait!

This bloke here (http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... 894#168894) got his extension approved after JR.

I have applied for extension/FLR (HSMP --> Tier1) on Apr 30 aswell.

Not sure though but this could just be an application for initial leave to remain under Tier 1 (applying for Tier 1 visa with an HSMP approval in hand).

I think there is a general confusion when one says HSMP -> Tier 1. Doesn't reflect whether the applicant is:
1. switching (initial entry) to Tier 1 based on a valid HSMP approval in hand.
OR
2. an existing HSMP visa holder in UK with leave to remain under HSMP applying for an extension (extending) using the Tier 1 form.

regards
