visa conversion

is it possible to convert eea family visa into working visa after the divorce from the former spouse? the future applicant (just in case) has a good job position..thanks in advance for generous answers

Are you already divorced? How long have you been married? Is the EEA national still in the UK or has left the country?

It is possible to retain the eea residence permit (do a search on this board...it comes up a lot). If it isn't possible in your case, then you would need to apply for a work permit (or other visa) before your residence permit is nullified (i.e. before the divorce).

not yet divorced but on the way..we are married 4 years now, 1yr spent in the UK
