I came to the UK from Pakistan with my brother when I was aged 15. We entered on UK visit visas using a false Pakistan passport. We then claimed asylum which was refused. I am now 22 and married to a British Citizen and have been granted leave to remain on family grounds for 30months.
I applied for a Pakistani passport but I am unable to get one as I have never had a genuine Pakistani passport in my original Pakistani identity. Pakistan embassy require the expired passport to renew. The false passport is with the Home Office.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do? I wish to travel abroad with my wife not necessarily to Pakistan. Am I able to apply for a travel document? If so what kind? Would I encounter problems?
