Spouse Filling Form In

Post by AzimScot » Fri May 30, 2008 11:30 pm

Hi,

I am about to apply for a settlement visa for my wife. Can I fill it in for her since its easier for her to review and sign it?

There is a part beneath the signature it states if this has been filled out by a agent or representative?

Would i be a rep? If i filled it in for her?

Thanks vinny, but I would also like to know, on that last page of the settlement form it states if this form has been completed by a agent or representative? Am not the agent but a rep? Do they need to know?

Azim, is this the VA4 form? I didn't enclose one for my husbands application and he still got the visa. I also know of various other applicants who didn't complete the VA4 form. I don't think it's that important; either way, if you state your the representative or act as if your wife completed the form, I don't think it matters. (unless of course your wife can't read/write English)...

Yes its the VA4 settlement form.

she can read write english but not 100% its just overall easier for me to fill it out on her behalf. I was just asking as where she has to sign the decleration and date it and print her name it would be different handwriting and they may pick up or delay the processing of application raised at suspicion that someone else other than the applicant has filled out the form without stating??
