Tier 1 Entrepreneur

Post by Aranee » Mon Dec 03, 2018 5:59 pm

Hi all,
Glad that I found someone to ask my doubts on Tier 1 visas.
It has been a frustrating long 1 year since me and my fiance committed into a meaningful relationship to start our new life.

He had applied for extension of Tier 1 Entrepreneur on first week of July 2017 along with his business partner.
They have given their biometric information on week commencing 24/07/2017.
As they didnt hear any response from HO further they have sent a letter through their solicitors on 13/02/2018 requesting a decision be made on their applications.
They did not hear back until 11/06/2018 when they received an email from home office representative requesting to attend an interview on 14th June 2018.
have successfully completed the interview on 14th June 2018. Since then they haven’t received any further feedback from The Home Office.
In the mean time they contacted the UKVI contact centre more than five times and through local MP and received the same reply every time stating:
“Our Records show your application has not yet been completed. We are unable to advice when a decision will be made but you will be notified in writing once made. We are sorry we cannot be of further assistance at this time.”
On the other hand his business partner's wife has given birth to their first child on 18th December 2017 and he is very keen to see the new born and family. He was not able to visit his wife during the pregnancy and his son will be one year old in 05 days.
As there is no further feedback from the Home Office couldnt decide further step in life

I'm practicing as a doctor currently in Sri lanka and on my second year of probationary period and not allowed to pursue my goals in UK with a No pay leave.
As a summary we are in the middle of no decision land and unable to take any decisions further

If somebody can guide us we will be really greatful
