AN Form photos in my British Passport?

Hi guys,

Pretty random question, but I hope someone can help.

Would the photo I attach to referee declarations also be the actual photo in my British Passport?
Or will I be allowed to submit new photos when applying for my passport?
I’ve got a couple of older photos I could attach but they are pretty horrendous- I would rather get a nice one taken for a document I would use for a decade

I applied using JCAP. I submitted two very nice pics with my passport application, but... they used the one from the biometrics. Which wasn’t too bad tbh.
