Can Personal Loan be a valid Maintainence fund?

Can Personal Loan be a valid Maintainence fund?

Hi All,

I'am planning to apply under Tier 1(general) in August for which i have taken a Personal loan of 4 lacs as Evidence of Maintainnce Funds in April.When i called the VFS Guys in bangalore,They told me tat it will not be considered as a valid evidence.Can anyone please share any info on this?
