Uk citizen and US green card

I am a UK citizen ( by birth )...on an h1 visa in USA. I am a doctor by proffession. How long will it take my green card to process, will my british citizenship make the process speedier?

How long? Depends on whether you can access EB-2 or EB-3. Look at the Visa Bulletin:

Your British citizenship won't make any difference. In fact if you were born in India or mainland China, it may take longer than usual.
