spouse visa financial requirement question

I would appreciate for kind help in my financial requirement question. I am on spouse visa and now extension is due till end of this month. my husband was self employed and filed tax return 17/18 and it fulfill the required threshold but after april 18 he is director of limited company and on paye now. Now I was going through the application form and it said on the form that self employment should be continued at the time of application and should provide proof e.g bank statement.I am really confused here what to do. Any solution for this problem or what should I do.
