Is it okay to take 4 months holidays and coming back only 2 months before applying ILR in UK ?

Is it okay to take 4 months holidays and coming back only 2 months before applying ILR in UK ?

Person is on Tier 2 Dependent visa, there children all have british passport and main applicant has ILR.
