Going abroad while waiting for the new BRP

Dear all,

I have a problem. I lost my BRP on 29th December, 2018 (now I'm holding Tier 2 visa).
I have reported to the Home Office, applied the replacement of BRP, and taken my biometric information on 2nd January, 2019.
However, I have to go to US for a conference on 11th - 21th January. It's not possible for me to receive my BRP in time even if I chose the faster service.
So will I have any troubles when coming back from US? I'm afraid that I might be rejected at the Customs.
Anyone has similar experiences?
