I'm in a similar situation. I have accounts with EmiratesNBD and Habib bank AG Zurich.
they are not ready to give me any customized letter other than their own standard format. I've upgraded my account to priority banking and now i"m waiting response from my account manager to tell me if she can arrange such letter for me.
They also don't provide me a letter which states
1. funds can be transferred to UK
2. that the banks are regulated by Central Bank of UAE.
I'm going back and forth with them both, but no success.
