Hi,
Can someone please help and advise on my query.
I am a non EEA family member of an EEA national, and we both are applying together for PR via the online process for EEA nationals. My query is regarding the Biometrics and BRP section in the application process online. I believe that the Biometrics is mandatory for Non EEA applicants and requires a confirmation/signature by the applicant for the application to be considered. (As per the guidance notes and info available in the EEA-PR -Paper form)
However in the online application process they only ask if you have any old BRP and if you can submit this with your application. I did have an old BRP which expired over 5 years ago and i do not have the original any more. I have provided the unique number for my old BRP (which is lost and expired over 5 years ago)in the online application but still not sure if this is enough?
Also in the paper form of application process they say that i have to give a consent via signing on a form (within the paper form application) for my new BRP to be recorded without this consent the application may be refused. This consent taking process is clearly missing in the online application process.
Should i print and add the 2 pages of BRP consent from the paper form and add with my printout of the online application and submit it all together with the documents just in case ? Any advise on this will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Nitin
