FLR visa application

Post by Goldfish1990 » Tue Jan 15, 2019 10:48 am

Hello

My husband will need to start applying for his FlR visa. Will it be FP or M as I am currently pregnant and due this Aug as well.

Also I think he will need to do another English test as I think he did A1 for his spouse application but what test will he need to do for his next visa. Does anyone have the link so I can book this.

Also I want to start putting the documents together early as I don't want the stress of applying for a visa while I'm heavily pregnant so would like to get most of it prepped soon. Does anyone have a list of documents that will need to be included for this next visa or if anyone has recently had there's accepted if you could let me know the order you put yours in.

Hi. I can answer a couple of your questions as we are going through the FLR M process and nearly ready to submit next week. Your husband will need to sit another english test A2 as the A1 expires after 2 years. My husband sat his at Trinity College , London, but I believe they are based all over England. If you Google Trinity College you will get the info. As for the list of requirements that will be specific to your visa, I can list a few of what they asked from us ; passports, resident card, bank statements, proof of employment, employee letter confirming details of employment, marriage certificate and if not readable in English then translated, HMRC letters regarding self employment for my husband, correspondence that you have been living together, spread over 2 years, GP confirmation that he has joined. You can have a trail run of the FLR M application without submitting it. you can save the application for 10 weeks up to the point before you make payment so maybe try that. Hope this helps and good luck with everything.
