EXTENSIONS???

Post by k7 » Sat Jun 07, 2008 11:37 pm

Hi,

I am in the UK on an hsmp visa for 2 years.
My question is in order to apply for extension for this visa when do i need to apply and under which category. I will be glad if you could possibly give me the link. also, is this extension for three years?

Looking forward to advice.

Many Thanks

Apply for Tier-1 (General) extension, if you meet the criteria. You should apply 4-5 weeks before your current leave to remain exxpires.

The HSMP scheme has been replaced by Tier-1 (General) scheme. You will now be applying for switching into this scheme by applying for extension (FLR - further leave to remain) and you will be granted an FLR initially for 3 year. For further clarification see this link on BIA website
