When is The Right Time to Reapply For BC My Dilemma

Post by Phil2020 » Sat Jan 19, 2019 6:28 pm

Hi,

I'm on a bit of dilemma with my situation and any help will be greatly appreciate.

Had one conviction back in August 20th 2014 which I was given a one year non-custodial suspended sentence.

In February 2017 i applied for British Citizenship and I got rejected on the grounds of good character because of that conviction, at the same time the H/O stated that "knew applications made before August 20th 2018 will be unlikely to be successful."

I'm ready again to resubmit a fresh application what is the likelihood of my application being rejected for the second time on the exact same reason as my first application back in February 2017 :?:

The H/O did not give me specific time ban but I was given a date that applications would be "unlikely to be successful if submitted before August 20th 2018" does that mean if I applied after August 20th 2018 that I would not be rejected on the exact same reason as last time :?:

So all in all given the situation with my conviction and the H/O's response to my first application, when is the right time to reapply for British Citizenship :?:

****Sorry there were some spelling/grammatical errors to my original post here is the corrected version ****

Hi,

I'm on a bit of dilemma with my situation and any help will be greatly appreciated.

Had one conviction back in August 20th 2014 which I was given a one year non-custodial suspended sentence.

In February 2017 i applied for British Citizenship and I got rejected on the grounds of good character (because of that conviction). At the same-time the H/O stated that "new applications made before August 20th 2018 will be unlikely to be successful."

I'm ready again to resubmit a fresh new application but I'm not sure the likelihood of my application being successful or being rejected for the second time on the exact same reason as my first application back in February 2017.

The H/O did not give me specific time ban but I was given a specific date that applications would be "unlikely to be successful if submitted before August 20th 2018". Does that mean that if I applied after August 20th 2018 I would be successful or at the very least I will not be rejected on the exact same reason as last time :?:

So all in all given the situation with my conviction and the H/O's response to my first application, when is the right time to reapply for British Citizenship :?:
