MN1 application submitted without biometric consent

Hi all,
I posted my baby's MN1 application via post now realised that I have to complete the biometric consent form too. I didnt do it because he is 8 months old and thought children under 6 doesnt beed biometric taken. But now realise that's not the case. I haven't receive any acknowledgement so far.. posted the application on 10 th january 2019
Application received to the HO on 14 th jan
Please advice what will happen
Will they refuse my application ?
