Advice on spouse visa? Please??!

Post by xxlara » Mon Jun 09, 2008 11:31 pm

We live in the USA and I am a UK citizen. I have a green card and will live here for the forseeable future.
We lived briefly in the UK for which we obtained a two year spouse visa, which expires in October. We will be visiting the UK for Christmas and staying a week. Will the fact that my husband has an expired spouse visa cause a problem at passport control?
I have contacted the 'helpline' worldbridge and they cannot help, they told me to call the consulate but the consulate cannot help, the automated system says I have to talk to worldbridge!!!!!!!
Any advice would be great, I am going around in circles.......

I would think you'd be fine as long as you have proof of returning to the US after the trip (return ticket, letter from employer etc). If they ask, just be honest and let them know that you now live in the US.
