Possible HO announcements next week

Just looking at the parliamentary schedule for next week, I see that Jacqui Smith is to speak and answer questions on Monday afternoon in the Main Chamber.

With that in mind, I wouldn't be surprised if she has something to say about the consultations completed in February/March for proposed changes to spousal and visitor visas. It takes three months to compile the responses, so Monday the 9th of June may be just about right for an formal announcement.

Just a guess...

Any updated info on this, RobinLondon? And are they likely to be in our favour or tightening the noose, yet again...

I've had a look and only saw information about the points based system. Not relevant here.
