Relationship To Your Sponser?

Post by AzimScot » Tue Jun 10, 2008 1:38 am

one of the questions on the settlement va4 visa form is that it says:-

6.4.12 Have you lived with your sponsor in a relationship like a marriage or civil partnership at any time (including since a wedding or civil partnership ceremony)?

I crossed in X Yes and it then says u need to provide evidence of this:-

When
Where
How Long For

I lived in 2 houses 1 my uncles and 1 my wifes home but I have no idea how I would prove this? Would a letter from both homeowners do?

You have not lived with your uncle in a relationship akin to marriage (not one that would be recognised here anyway!) so only the period with your wife is relevant. You need to provide evidence of living together as a couple. Examples would include correpondence such as utility bills, council tax letters, letters from hospitals, councils, university or college etc.

Unless you were not a couple at the time that you lived with her...can you clarify your relationship then?
Oh, the drama...!

hi,

you can just elaborate on a seperate sheet to explain that after u got married you lived together for 2 weeks etc.

After i got married we stayed at the at the PC in lahore for 9 days so i submitted my bill as proof.

Not everyone does this so if you chose to stay at home then theres nowt wrong with that...and simply theres no way to prove it..just state it... i would state that u went shopping, sight seeing..eating out etc etc...

all the best.
