Income on Application (Shares related)

Hi there, Happy Friday!

I'm organising for my dependent (more than 6 months) visa application. In the Employment & Income section, one of the questions asks:
Do you have savings, properties or other income, for example from stocks and shares?
If yes, Total Monthly Income from savings, properties or other income, for example from stocks and shares

My stepdad passed away and his shares for a company he used to work at was then given to me as part of his will. The shares given are in GBP and since he had no use for them, before he passed - he provided my bank details to the company for the shares to be deposited into my account once he was gone. I've never worked at the company in question.
I don't get Monthly shares and since he hasn't been gone too long, I don't know the occurrence of when these shares come through.

Does anyone know if I have to submit any paperwork for that? The letter my Mum got to provide bank details shows his name and not my own. As I'm applying overseas, I don't have any paperwork with me as that's in Australia with Mum.
