Wait for seniors to reply.Syeda rizvi wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 2:35 pmthey still got it as they were expired back in 2011. but am applying for new one from my embassy. my question is can i travel to my country? will i face any problems for extantion
I personally think as long as your BRP does not state “refugee” you should be ok. If you were granted assylum then your BRP would have said leave to remain but also refugee.
I know. That is what I said. Lets say if your assylum was accepted you would have got a leave to remain for 5 years. Your BRP would have said “Refugee”. In that case, going back to Pakistan would have been a problem. Also, Pakistani consulate would create problems to issue you a new passport.Syeda rizvi wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 3:51 pmNo , i think you misunderstood my question. this leave to remain is for 2 n half years. i am from pakistan i aplyed for asylum as a pakistani it was refused but now am granted visa on my children 7 year base. if i vist my country in these 2 years will there be any difficulty for extention in future , if home office raise a question why have you been ghere if you applyed asylum before
Probably best not to risk it if ur still claiming benefits as a 'refugee' on FLR.Syeda rizvi wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 4:57 pmyes . that was my confusion but i would also want a senior to suggest. for all safe sides
