What are the process for CoS Application Process?

What are the process for CoS Application Process?

Hi,

I am going to join a new company as a tier 2 sponsor employee. They have just began the stage of RLMT, which is advertising a job. I followed the criteria of what to include in the job description, yet, I am a bit confused with the 'Product code'. My employer is posting a job of SOC 3537 with salary £35,000 a year.
Do they have to include the SOC code?
My current visa expires on 27th June 2019, and I can only rely on this tier 2 CoS.
Can my employer start applying for CoS when the RLMT is still happening, so that the application can be sent out as soon as 28 days RLMT ended?

Not sure what you mean by product code.
Generally the employer doesn't need to mention SOC code details in the advert.

While assigning COS to you, employer have to tick option whether they completed RLMT or not, which means they cannot start the assignment in advance. Unless you meant they need to request additional COS from UKVI.

Btw, it seems you got the job offer even before RLMT completed? The employer will get in serious trouble if the home office finds out that they didn't follow the RLMT process as they should.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

Thank you for your explanation :) This sounds a bit worrying cos it means it is going to take more time after RLMT.
My employer is applying for CoS for her company and I am doing research for her. We didn't sign contract or anything, she even said she is going to be fair and pick the best candidate for the company which means I am going to participate in the interview with other candidates. I guess all I can do now is to understand the process so if I got the role, I can quickly move onto next stage.
