Retired Parents Standard visitor Visa

Post by avaixhah » Tue Mar 05, 2019 12:05 pm

Hi,

I am planning to bring my parents here in UK on standard visitor visa. There are two main reason of their visit

1- My cousin (my aunt son mean my father nephew) wedding in UK
2- To visit us and to spend some time with our daughter

I have so far asked them to arrange following documents.

1- Both Passports
2- Both Bank Statements (Statements showing pension transactions)
3- Both Proof of pension
4- Both NIC copy
5- Nadra family tree
6- Documents from Pak which can show ownership of property
7- Little brother NIC/Proof of his occupation
9- House / Property Price Evaluation

My concern is that I haven't got enough money in my account to support them during their 2 weeks visit to UK. I have asked my parents to submit their bank statements which have enough money to cover their flights. I will provide the accommodation and food. Would this be sufficient?

Second question is, I am submitting my payslips, sponsor letter, tenancy agreement. Do these documents need to be original or I can email them? Due to tight timescale I am not sure I can take the risk of posting these documents.

Please help, any further advice would be highly appreciated.

thanks
Syed

Typo in Visitor Visa application

Post by avaixhah » Wed Mar 06, 2019 1:54 pm

Hi,

I am in the process of applying standard visitor visa for my parents. I guess i have to submit two separate application i.e 1 for each parent.

I have submitted my father application and realized that I have put wrong passport expiry year. Instead of putting 2022 i have mistakenly put 2023. Month is correct. Does it make difference? shall i cancel the appointment and submit new?

thanks
Syed
