Integra verification process for UK company(!!) ??

Hi all,

When I am applying for Tier 1 visa from India and have worked with both Indian and a UK company, does

1. Integra verify (through phone or email) the employee details with the UK employer? OR
2. do they refer the verification process to UK Home office?

I am asking above question because I wanted to gauge the time taken for employment verification. If Integre does the UK company verification itself, then I am guessing it will take less time as compared to the case when verification is delegated to UK home office.

I would greatly appreciate comments from fellow members who have seen similar situation, i.e. who have any idea/experience/comments regarding verification of Tier 1 application from India with UK company work experience.

Strange are the ways of INTEGRA. They may not remain content with just calling your employer/sending an email, as per a PM that I got from someone, they may even visit the premises of your employer and try to verify the details - & if that happens, whether or not HO does it, there would be delays.

What I am trying to suggest here is, the time taken for verification varies from individual to individual and its really difficult to make a judgement on it, whether or not HO does it.

Thanks push_hsmp!! I agree with you Integra's ways are strange indeed!!

But my question was when an Indian application needs verification of both UK and Indian company, who actually does the UK company verification? Home office or Integra?

Can you also let me know some more (anonymous) details of the person who pm'ed you and share his experience?? Did his application include UK company and Indian company verification?

I am guessing that UK companies have more credibility and time taken for their verification might be small.

P.S. But I agree with you that verification time would highly vary with each individual application.
