SET (M) - app date/financials

Post by bubbleslapark » Sat Mar 09, 2019 12:58 am

Hi all,

my wife will be going through the ILR process shortly,
she arrived in the UK on 13/04/14 so by my maths, she can apply from 16/03/19, which is 60m - 28d, is that right?
we are using my salary as we did at FLR, on the website (dummy run), it asks regarding the house in the financial section, specifically renting or owning property, the mortgage, council tax, bedrooms. do I base this question on me, or my wife? if its my wife then there is no mortgage as its in my name only. I know the application is in my wife's name but I have just filled in my job data so wasn't sure if the mortgage bit applied to me or not.

all help, gratefully received.

It is her application so it should be based on her circumstances

thanks, so in the box following that where it says can you explain this (or words to those effect), I just enter, "my husband (Mr Bubbles) owns the house and has a mortgage"

Document dates when uploaded

Post by bubbleslapark » Mon Mar 18, 2019 6:22 am

Hi,

We are looking at Set M but I guess this applies across the full immigration spectrum. We are going for Super Priority as well.

When it comes to the documents required re banking, payslips, employment etc. Does the 28 day rule apply from the date of application, or the date of biometric completion?

Example, I get paid on next Monday, so if we completed the application today we are inside the 28 day rule, but by the time my wife completes biometrics, which would be after next Monday, I would have a new payslip & bank statement required so the 28 day rule new versions of requires these, the problem here been my updated bank statements wouldn't come through until the 1st week of April.

So do we go by application date, or biometric completion date?

Thanks for any help provided

Set (m) Finance PIP / Mortgage

Post by bubbleslapark » Mon Mar 25, 2019 8:23 am

Hi,

We are completing my wife's SET M today, she is unemployed aka housewife, I'm earning over £18600 so will cover this, I also claim PIP.

Do I need to advise that I claim PIP? I didn't advise this on my the FLR completed previously nor the initial settlement she got. I'm well past the £18600, so I assume I can just enter the my salary & provide the documents proof as requested. I assume it only asks if you want to apply via this route, am I correct?

I have a mortgage, she isn't listed on it, but she's on the council tax. when it asks the questions,
Do you own or rent your home? / How much mortgage do you pay each month?,
is this aimed at me or her?
I can provide the land registry document and mortgage statement for me so not issue but just want to make sure we are answering it right. It doesn't say "your sponsor" around it so hence the confusion.

Thanks for ay help you can provide
