No longer in the UK but Immigration still send deportation letter to my address

Post by OriJohn » Mon Mar 11, 2019 1:01 am

Hi All,
I used to live in the UK about 6 years ago, and I left after several appeals of the denial of a stay in the UK.
To my surprise my family friend told me that immigration sent a letter in my name titled : NOTIFICATION OF GRANT/VARIATION OF IMMIGRATION BAIL 'TO A PERSON DETAINED' OR LIABLE TO BE DETAINED.

I am now a passport holder of a visa waiver country to the UK. My question is would that affect my entry into the UK in the nearest future if I decide to visit the UK?

Visa waiver isn't visa free. You could still be denied entry when arriving in the UK.
What was your previous immigration history? If they are issuing letters to you then you are still on file which will affect your applications. Perhaps write a letter to advise the current situation?
