Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this.
I have a problem and I hope someone can address it. I have ILR granted December 2018, my husband is on tier2 ICT for the past 8 years, with the current role received last month. I have a daughter born in the UK, she is currently a dependent on my husband's Visa but we plan to apply for her BC soon.
The problem now is that I had new baby in Canada and we are planning to take her with us to the UK. We don't have time to apply for entry clearance from Canada, so we plan to enter the UK with her on her Canadian passport and then my husband's company can apply for her dependent Visa in country.
Is this allowed? I know it's not allowed for adults but am not sure for babies. A friend of mine did the same thing for their US born baby but am not sure if it was a mistake or these is a rule that allow this.
Please advise.
