Life In Uk test. Surname is wrong

Post by bablug » Mon Mar 18, 2019 1:54 pm

Dear Admin

I have passed by test last week but my surname was missing one character. Examiner did mentioned me that I did add a note regarding this. I did called Home office and they said they need to follow the guidelines. I did contact life in uk helpline number and they said I dont need to re do my test again. When I am gonna apply for Visa I just need to write down a covering letter where I need to mention my real surname and the word whis is missing. My solicitor saying I need to do the test again. Can any senior advised me. Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks in advance.

I think it will be okay. The examiner put a note in the system plus the LIUK certificate have your date of birth, country and other details to match. Should be okay. Just add a cover letter.
