Maiden name on BRP nad married name on passport

Hi. Any reply would be appreciated.

I am currently on a Tier 2 visa. I've recently applied for a "change of circumstances" application as I have renewed my passport and it's now in my married name. I had my biometric done on 7.02.19 and is still waiting for my BRP to arrive. I would have waited but it says on their website that I have to do it within 3 months of changing my surename or I would be fined.

My question now is, will it be okay to travel with my current BRP (with my maiden name) and my passport in my married name if I carry my marriage certificate and my old passport? We will be flying on 30.03.19 and be back here in the UK 23.04.19. Will they allow me entry? Thanks

Hi My wife is facing the similar sort of situation

She got updated her surname on the passport but the BRP card is still as per old passport

Is change of circumstance is the process or does she need to apply for a new BRP? What was your experience

Yes I have a similar question as I need to travel in two weeks. I have applied to change my name in my BRP from maiden to married name within the 3 months time frame but until now I have not received my BRP with married name. It's been 12 weeks. What was your experience with the UK border? Did you have problems with airline check in? I still have my old passport with maiden name BRP in maiden name and new passport with married name + marriage certificate. I bought the airline ticket using my married name. Stressing out as need to travel in two weeks. Want to seek help from our MP but there's no MP given the upcoming elections! It's really frustrating!
