WP->Out of Country WP -> ILR

Hi,

I have an appointment in July for ILR and this situation was brought to my notice today. Searched the forum but could not find any information on this. Will really appreciate any help or info on this situation.

SITUATION:

1. Took up a Job in UK on work permit in July2003. WP and leave valid till end of 2005
2. Got another job with another company while working in UK in Nov 2004.
3. Got an out-of-country WP due to time constraints. Visited the home country to get the leave to enter as it was an out of country WP. Was back within 2 weeks and joined my new employer in Dec 2005.
4. I only reason I returned to my home country was to get the leave entered into my passport.

Considering 5 year rule for an ILR, am I eligible for ILR in July'08.

Once again, any help will be highly appreciated. My apologies in advance for the short notice.
